I grew up in the greater Zürich area and am a native German (Swiss German) speaker. Before starting my studies at Dolmetscherschule Zürich (DOZ) I spent a few months in England and received the Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge as well as the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Back home, I trained to be a translator in German, English and French. During my studies, I spent 6 months in Ireland and attended University College Cork (UCC).
I received my translator's diploma in 1992. 
Throughout my studies and in the years to come, I supported children in language matters on all different school levels and in all three languages.
In 2012, I qualified to teach adults and have since been teaching German as a foreign language to adults. I teach beginners from level A1 to advanced learners up to level C2 as well as Schweizerdeutsch. I tutor children, (young) adults and retirees both in groups and in 1:1 settings.
